Microsoft held its fifth Xbox Partner Preview showcase on March 26, delivering a 30-minute broadcast packed with 19 upcoming games — eight of which were never-before-seen titles. Fourteen of the announced games will be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from day one.
The Big Highlights
The show opened with the announcement trailer for Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish, a first-person action RPG developed by Teyon — the studio behind RoboCop: Rogue City. The game is heading to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S in Summer 2027.
Supergiant's acclaimed roguelite sequel Hades 2 finally has an Xbox and PS5 date: April 14. If you've been holding off on the early access version, your wait is almost over.
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio's Stranger Than Heaven was one of the most ambitious reveals of the show — a Like a Dragon-style action game spanning five cities across five different historical eras, complete with a jazz soundtrack. A dedicated showcase is planned for May 6 where a release date is expected.
Other notable announcements included The Expanse: Osiris Reborn from Owlcat Games, Serious Sam: Shatterverse — a co-op shooter from Devolver Digital and Behaviour Interactive — and Wuthering Waves coming to Xbox Series X|S in July.
The Verdict
The showcase leaned heavily on third-party partnerships, with a solid mix of AA and indie games filling out Game Pass. Stranger Than Heaven and Hades 2's console date were the standout moments, and May 6 is now a date to watch for RGG fans.
